Are you an AAT qualified accountant with practical experience of managing complex multi-faceted projects to time and budget, preferably within a local government environment? We are seeking an experienced Deputy Finance Manager to support the Development Finance Manager to enable and ensure the delivery of numerous high-profile capital schemes for the benefit of our residents and visitors. If you are ready to take on this exciting role, work across boundaries to tackle financial challenges and ensure our substantial capital programme is sustainable, then this is your opportunity.
We have a robust Medium Term Financial Strategy and several exciting development and construction opportunities due to significant external investments into the district. We need a finance professional who can work across departments to help deliver our capital aspirations and capital financing functions, including year-end accounting and budget monitoring to help ensure our financial resilience.
You will report to the Development Finance Manager, working closely with the colleagues within the multi-skilled CDT and wider stakeholders, to help enable the delivery of our Fit for the Future Programme underpinning our Council Plan.
